Gabion Walls

Here we carried out the construction of a gabion wall in Cherhill, near Calne, where the river Marden runs along the bottom of our customers garden. The wall was built to retain the bank and provide long term protection against erosion while creating an attractive natural feature.

Gabian walls are ideal for retaining banks, boundary wall and riverbanks where erosion protection is required. Their open design allows water to pass freely, making them a practical and environmentally friendly solution. Using natural or recycled stone, they provide long lasting strength while, overtime, plants can grow between the rocks to create a natural looking finish.
